By combining biomedical signals such as ECG\, EHG\, EEG\, and ultrasound\, she investigates the coupling between maternal and fetal cardiovascular systems. \nAfterwards\, Giulia Palladino will present her work on non-obtrusive monitoring of preterm infants. Using a fiber-optic pressure-sensitive mattress\, she studies movement patterns and respiration\, as well as the maturation trajectories of preterm infants through vital signs data. \nWhether you’re interested in medical engineering\, signal processing\, or healthcare innovation\, this lunch lecture offers a fascinating glimpse into how technology supports care for both mother and child!
